Mom’s Pantry accepts donations of both food and money to help us meet our goals. Unless otherwise designated, 100% of donated funds are used towards the supply food and hygiene items for distribution to our guests. Facility and administrative costs are separately funded.

Mom’s Pantry, through Christian Life Outreach, is a Qualifying Charitable Organization in the state of Arizona. That means that you can receive a tax credit up to $800 for contributions made to Mom’s Pantry using the QCO code 21059. Contributions to QCOs and QFCOs | Arizona Department of Revenue

Mom’s pantry food donations are always welcome, here is a helpful list of what we need: canned fruit, canned vegetables, boxed mac and cheese, canned soup, peanut butter, canned chicken or tuna, pasta, cereal, granola bars, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, bar soap and toilet paper. Donations can be dropped off at Mom’s Pantry Sat 9-2 and Sunday 9-1.

Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We appreciate you taking the time to serve with us. Volunteers have the opportunity of packing bags, stocking shelves or check in guests and more.

Volunteer hours are Saturdays 9:00am – 2:30pm and Sundays 9 am – 1:30 pm. It is important to arrive promptly at 9:00am as we have a meeting and discuss work assignments for the day. Mom’s Pantry is open to guests from 10:00am – 2:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am – 1:00pm on Sunday. We ask that volunteers stay until the end of day tasks are completed and until the last guest has been served and left the Pantry.

Mom’s Pantry allows children 9 through 15 years old to volunteer with their parent or guardian. Ages 16 and 17 may volunteer on their own. All prospective volunteers must complete a volunteer application and consent form for their age or the age of their children. These forms can be found online at

After you complete the first link above, anyone 18+ will receive an additional email to complete a background check if we do not already have a current one on file. Once the application and background check are approved, you will be contacted and provided info on how to sign up on the volunteer schedule.

 

Host a food drive

Hosting a food drive is a fun way to help those in need across the Valley. Why not host a food drive at your work, at your church, school or in your community?

Mom’s Pantry provides and delivers bins for food collections, provides ideas to make your drive successful, picks up the bins and food, and shares on social media about how you are impacting the community. Click here to set up your food drive.
