Mom’s Pantry Hosts 9/5/15 Food Drive – With a Twist

Mom’s Pantry, a north Phoenix food bank, will be hosting a food drive event on Saturday, September 5th from 10am to 3pm to collect non-perishable food items for those in need.

With two years of serving the local Cave Creek and north Phoenix community under their belt, Mom’s Pantry is eager to continue their community support with this unique food drive event.

Those who are planning on donating will be happy to experience a drive-thru style food drop off. To allow for as many donations as possible, Mom’s Pantry will be welcoming those who can drive-thru their parking lot to provide their donation, without ever leaving their car. The drive-thru style drop off creates an easy and efficient opportunity for donations, while contributing to fighting hunger in the community.

Mom’s Pantry will be accepting donations during their extended business hours on Saturday from 10am to 3pm and welcomes all non-perishable food items as well as canned goods. Specifically, the below are some foods that are in high need:

• Canned tuna or canned chicken
• Boxed pasta
• Canned vegetables
• Chef Boyardee® items
• Boxed mac ‘n cheese
• Boxed mashed potatoes
• Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc)

Join Mom’s Pantry in the fight against hunger at their Cave Creek location (13440 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85022) on Saturday, located on Cave Creek Rd, north of the Sweetwater Ave crossroad intersection.
